  • Where are you based out of?
    I live in Osceola, IA, but service all of Des Moines area and beyond.
  • Do you have a studio?
    Yes! My studio is located in my home. I have amazing clients travel 1-2 hours from their home to my studio.
  • Do you provide prints or digital files only?
    I provide digital files, but you have the option of purchasing prints through the online gallery you'll receive from me. It's very convenient! No downloading, then uploading photos on another website!
  • What's your style?
    I love genuine moments that make you feel in that moment. When it comes to family sessions, I provide prompts that create movement. Movement creates natural reactions and those are the moments I LOVE to capture. Maternity and newborn include more poses fused with my lifestyle photography. Although I prefer lifestyle sessions, I offer studio lighting for milestone sessions and baby-only newborn package.
  • When do you schedule sessions?
    Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-1.5 hours before the sunsets. This is when the lighting is best. Studio sessions are scheduled between 12PM-3PM when lighting is best. Studio lighting sessions (milestone and baby-only newborn) are scheduled between 10AM-3PM.
  • Where will the session be located?
    This is based on the type of session you booked, the questionnaire and the vibe you're trying to achieve. Are you interested in studio, outdoor, city, or the woods? Maybe somewhere like a greenhouse or tree farm? After that's decided, I have several spots to choose from.
  • What do I wear?
    I have a client closet available to you! This includes women's dress, maternity dresses, children's clothing. Clients receive styling assistance from me if they choose. I provide Styling Guides for family, maternity and newborn sessions in addition to my Pinterest Styling Board.
  • What if the weather is bad?
    As much as I loooove warm sunsets, I also shoot in overcast weather. However, if it rains, snows, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule.
  • Do you offer mini sessions?
    I believe in investing my time in you if you spend an investment in me! This is why I only offer mini sessions when I host an event like Spring Family Mini's or Fall Family Mini's.
  • I'm SO excited to see my photos! When will I receive them?
    I can't wait for you to see your images! Galleries are shared via email within 3-4 weeks or less.
